The team behind White Collar Comedy Jersey has announced that this year’s event, in aid of Jersey Employment Trust, has officially sold out in under two weeks.
The much anticipated evening of stand up, taking place at The Royal Yacht on 1st April, will see local novices take to the stage to raise vital funds to support Islanders with disabilities and long term health conditions into employment.
Event organiser Kiley Henley said the response has been overwhelming. “We are absolutely thrilled to have sold out in under two weeks. The support from the community has been incredible and we are so grateful to everyone who has bought tickets, backed the performers and supported the event. We cannot wait for the main event. It is shaping up to be a fantastic night for a truly important cause.”
Joining the line up as headline act is acclaimed comedian Luisa Omielan, best known for her groundbreaking show What Would Beyoncé Do?! and appearances on Live at the Apollo. Her high energy performance style and observational comedy promise to make this an unforgettable night.
The event is proudly headline sponsored by Integritas Wealth Partners, whose backing has helped make this year’s show possible. Event marketing, communications and planning has been delivered by Melissa Crowther Marketing & Event Solutions.
Although tickets are no longer available, Islanders can still get involved by sponsoring the performers and helping them reach their fundraising targets via Jersey Giving: https://jerseygiving.je/sponsor/activity/white-collar-comedy-jersey/
With a full house confirmed, organisers say preparations for the main event are now firmly underway. “We can’t wait to welcome everyone for what promises to be a fantastic evening. The performers have been working hard behind the scenes, and it’s shaping up to be a brilliant show.”
The headline act for a charity event which will see Islanders try their hands at stand-up has been announced.
Award-winning comedian Luisa Omielan will headline and host the inaugural charity event in 2026, thanks to the support of headline sponsors, Integritas Wealth.
She will take to the stage at The Royal Yacht on Wednesday 1 April 2026 for ‘Do you think you’re funny. The White Collar Comedy Graduation’. She will host the night and close the show, supporting ten local participants as they perform their first ever stand-up routines.
White Collar Comedy Jersey will see Islanders – all complete beginners – take part in an eight-week training programme designed to turn them into confident performers.
The participants will receive comedy coaching, confidence-building sessions, mentoring and guidance on stage presence, before putting their new skills to the test in a live show.
Each performer will deliver a five-to-ten-minute routine, with the event acting as a fundraiser for Jersey Employment Trust, which supports people with disabilities and long-term health conditions into work.
Event organiser Kiley Henley said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have Luisa Omielan on board as our headline act and host. Her energy, warmth and ability to connect with audiences make her the perfect fit for an event that is all about confidence, courage and having a laugh for a great cause.”
Ed Loader, managing director of lead sponsor Integritas Wealth said: “We’re incredibly proud to be supporting White Collar Comedy Jersey and the vital work of Jersey Employment Trust. Supporting initiatives that strengthen our community here in Jersey is something we truly believe in, and we can’t wait for what promises to be a fantastic evening.”
Tickets are priced at £65 which includes an arrival drink, tapas style dinner and entertainment all evening, with all proceeds going directly to Jersey Employment Trust. Tickets are available from Island Ticket Hut.

WE’VE had white collar boxing, darts and even DJing…
But now a new charity challenge has been launched putting office jokers to the test in a stand-up competition in aid of Jersey Employment Trust.
White Collar Comedy Jersey will see eight Islanders take part in an eight-week training programme designed to turn them into confident performers.
The participants will receive comedy coaching, confidence-building sessions, mentoring and guidance on stage presence, before putting their new skills to the test in a live show at The Royal Yacht on Wednesday 1 April 2026.
Each performer will deliver a five-to-ten minute routine, with a celebrity headline comedian, who is yet to be announced, also set to perform.
The event is being organised as a fundraiser for Jersey Employment Trust, which supports people with disabilities and long-term health conditions into work.
Organiser and JET Ambassador Kiley Henley said the challenge was about stepping outside comfort zones while supporting a good cause.
“This event is all about pushing yourself, having fun and doing something completely different for a brilliant cause,” she said. “You do not need any comedy experience, just a willingness to give it a go and laugh along the way.”
Online applications to take part close on 7 January 2026, with in-person applications open until 14 January. Training will begin on 4 February.
The organisers are also keen to hear from sponsors interested in supporting the event.
